Lighting Control
Lighting installations are implemented using the Clipsal C-Bus system, Lutron or Rako. Other systems can be specified.
Lighting can be controlled from wall switches, a controller or a touch screen which includes an infra red remote control. Wireless control is also available.
Switches
There is a large range of wall switches available or an existing or new conventional switch can be integrated using a special interface unit, if your decor dictates.
Touch Screens
Touch screens are available with monochrome or colour displays, in a range of decorative styles, including stainless steel. A touch screen gives you the capability for lighting scenes; these are pre defined sequences and levels of lighting at the touch of the screen, by remote control or an associated switch. This gives the capability setting the level of light in the room where the touch screen is located or other rooms. Scenes are labelled, so for instance with one touch of the "Midnight Feast" scene you can light the route from your bedroom to the kitchen with discrete levels of lighting enroute so as not to disturb your family. The levels of lighting within scenes can be changed by the user so there is no need to call in the installer should you wish to change a scene. Touch screens also provide timing to schedule lighting events while you are away from home. They will also take into account the ligthing up times, based on your location.
Security
Lighting can be controlled by detectors such as a PIR unit which will detect the presence of someone outside and initiate a sequence of lighting to give the impression of occupancy.
